Our Programs

MTTG provides therapeutic and adaptive golf programs at no cost to participants. Instruction is adjusted to the individual.

Our Approach

Start with the individual.

Instruction is based on what each participant can do and what they are comfortable working on. The same lesson plan is not used for everyone.

Available Programs

Programs vary by setting and participant group

Weekly Golf Lesson Clinics

Weekly clinics provide golf instruction for people living with disabilities. Participants work on fundamentals and practice at a pace that works for them. For many, the clinic becomes a regular part of their week.

Who it's for: People of all ages living with disabilities, including people who use wheelchairs, have experienced an amputation or traumatic brain injury, or have other conditions that affect how they play golf.

Active Duty Military Clinics

MTTG conducts these clinics in coordination with Eisenhower Army Medical Center's Functional Recovery Program. Golf gives participating Service Members an opportunity to take part in recreation outside the clinical setting. EAMC staff support participants while MTTG provides the golf instruction.

Who it's for: Active Duty Servicemembers participating in the EAMC Functional Recovery Program (FRP).

Clinical Partnership Golf Clinics

MTTG works with rehabilitation programs whose participants can benefit from golf outside their usual treatment setting. Clinics may be held at a golf facility or brought directly to the partner organization. Partner staff support their participants while MTTG provides the golf instruction.

Who it's for: Participants referred by MTTG's healthcare and rehabilitation partners.

9-Hole On-Course Experiences

MTTG offers optional 9-hole outings for participants who are ready to take what they have practiced in clinics onto the golf course. The outings give participants experience playing a regular round of golf with support available when needed.

Who it's for: Clinic participants ready to play in a full-course setting.
