Organizations We Work With

MTTG works with healthcare providers, golf organizations, universities, and other organizations involved in our programs. Their roles differ. Some connect people with MTTG, while others provide places to play, professional expertise, student learning opportunities, or support for adaptive golf.

Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC)

Eisenhower Army Medical Center works with MTTG through its Functional Recovery Program (FRP). FRP staff coordinate participation for Active Duty Service Members who use golf as part of their return to recreation outside the clinical setting.

The United States Golf Association (USGA)

The United States Golf Association supports adaptive golf at the national level in ways that benefit MTTG and its participants. USGA-supported competitions provide opportunities for adaptive golfers to compete at a higher level, while USGA-backed funding has helped make grants available to organizations working in adaptive golf.

Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA)

MTTG maintains a working relationship with the Georgia State Golf Association through mutual support of each other's adaptive golf clinics and through professional collaboration at the state level. The relationship helps expand golf opportunities for people living with disabilities and connects MTTG with adaptive golf resources and opportunities across Georgia.

Augusta University

Augusta University graduate students in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy take part in MTTG programs as part of their education. Working alongside participants gives students direct experience with therapeutic recreation and adaptive golf outside the classroom.

National Alliance for Accessible Golf

Marty Turcios Therapeutic Golf is a recognized program and participates in the National Alliance for Accessible Golf's national network. The Alliance provides education, resources, and connections with others working in adaptive golf across the country. MTTG has previously received grant funding through the National Alliance for Accessible Golf, supported by USGA funding.
